Germany Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium)

Support for high-achieving students from all degree programs

The Deutschlandstipendium supports highly talented students at all participating universities in Germany. In addition to academic achievement, social commitment and personal achievements are also taken into account.

Recipients of the scholarship each receive 300 Euros per month: 150 Euros from private sponsors, and 150 Euros from the Federal Government. The university takes sponsorship pledges from businesses, foundations and also private individuals or the alumni association of Hochschule Geisenheim University (VEG Geisenheim Alumni Association e.V.).

Young people often achieve astonishing successes during their academic lives, investing a great deal of time and energy in their studies, and overcoming challenges. At the same time a lot of them are also volunteering their time in social projects, and this is something which the Germany Scholarship seeks to acknowledge.

APPLICATION 2025/2026

The appliccation periodfor the funding period 2025 / 2026 is between July 15, 2025 and August 15, 2025.

Please note that we will only consider online applications.

You must still have 2 semesters of standard study time ahead of you at the time of application.

NEW: you are not required to submit a transcript of records. This will be requested after the application deadline.
