Enrollment as a Doctoral Student

Hochschule Geisenheim University offers the option of enrolling as a doctoral student as part of a doctoral degree.

Doctoral students have the same rights and obligations as other students. This means, for example, that the University’s re-registration deadlines also apply to them. Doctoral students also receive a Student Card and are entitled to use local public transport in accordance with the contractual agreement between the University and the transport companies.

Enrollment as a doctoral student is not subject to application deadlines. Applicants should submit the necessary documentation (see checklist on the last page of the application) together with their Application for Enrollment as a doctoral student to the Admissions Office. It is important that the application is accompanied by the Letter of Acceptance as a Doctoral Student.
