Doctoral Committee

The Doctoral Committee of Hochschule Geisenheim University is the central organ for all formal affairs regarding the reward of doctoral degrees. This board is in particular responsible for the acceptance of applicants as a doctoral candidate and the admission to the doctoral procedure, as well as for the appointment of supervisors, reviewers, and the examination board.

Members of the Doctoral Committee and their deputies are elected in the Senate. Currently the composition of the Doctoral Committee is as follows:

Vice-President Research (chair)

three professors

two scientists

a Doctoral student as advisor

Frequency of sessions: 2x / semester
