We offer trainings and info events, which are developed in cooperation with other Hessian universities as part of the HeFDI project, as well as Graduate School courses and individual info events and workshops on research data management tailored to your working group, research project and discipline.
The HeFDI Data School offers interdisciplinary online trainings on research data management. The Data School is aimed at doctoral students and research assistants at universities in Hessen and is free of charge. You can choose between basic and advanced modules.
The basic modules provide a first introduction to research data management and focus on basic terms, standard methods and best practices.
The advanced modules provide in-depth insights in selected sub-areas of RDM. For those sessions, basic knowledge of RDM is an advantage, but is not mandatory.

The HeFDI Data Talks are bi-weekly open information and discussion events. Every other Friday, we introduce trainings and services on data management and discuss current topics. Currently, this includes in particular the consortia of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) with their programs, but we also talk about local and regional programs and provide general information on data management. If you would like to suggest a specific topic, please contact the HeFDI office.
The Data Talks are offered as a web conference and can be attended free of charge. At the beginning of a talk, invited experts provide input for about 30 to 40 minutes, followed by an opportunity for discussion and questions.
