An internship abroad is an interesting way of spending part of your study period in a foreign country. You’ll have the chance to get to know everyday life and the working environment in another country while at the same time developing your professional skills.
You will need to start planning your stay abroad at least one year before your departure. Some scholarship programmes have very early application deadlines and, depending on the country, you will have to complete a number of formalities (visa application, for example).
Internship and Vocational Studies (BPS-) Advisors and the International Relations Coordinator (Auslandsbeauftragte) of Hochschule Geisenheim University provide support for students in finding a suitable placement and completing the necessary formalities.
You would like to gain practical experience in other European countries? An Erasmus+ internship is just right for you!
The PROMOS mobility program provides funding for individually organised short stays abroad (between 1 and 6 months).
