Mr Mengel successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled "Kosten- und Margenstrukturen von Weingütern" on January 26th, 2023 at Hochschule Geisenheim University.
The Doctorate was supervised by Professor Dr. Andreas Kurth, Department of Wine and Beverage Business, Hochschule Geisenheim University.
The doctoral thesis was jointly evaluated together with Professor Dr. Detlev Möller, Department of Farm Management, Faculty of Organic Agricultural Sciences, University of Kassel
and Assoc. Professor DDr. Hermann Peyerl, LL.M., Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Economics (AFO), University of Natura Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
