The training of information literacy is one of our most important tasks. We offer different trainings with topics such as literature research and information retrieval.

You are new on University's Campus and haven't visited the library yet?
Our beginner training will give you competence in basic library usage. You will learn how to :
- Lending services: registration, borrowing items, loan periods, renewals, reservations
- Efficiently search our collection, using online-catalogs
- Find books and periodicals in open-shelf-stack
- Learn about differences between book and article research
- Inter-library loan
Appointments: By arrangement. Groups prefered.
An english-speaking training is unproblematic.

Introduction to scientific literature research for presentations, papers or thesis using specific research tools like databases or portals.
- Usage of our e-media collection and access to databases
- Search for scientific materials using online-catalogs and databases
- In-library-search, using catalogs of the main library
- Inter-library loan or document delivery service
Durantion: varies between 30 and 60 minutes, due to skills of participants
