Together with Kompetenzzentrum Kulturlandschaft (KULT), Hochschule Geisenheim University recently hosted a truffle conference for around 100 members of the German Truffle Association (Verband für Trüffelanbau und Nutzung in Deutschland e.V.).

The kick-off module of the Basics course by the Simonit & Sirch School of Vine Pruning – arranged by the Geisenheim Institute of Continuing Education – was held at Hochschule Geisenheim University's vineyard in early November 2019.

More 1,000 students from around 70 universities and institutions of higher education took part in the competition organized by the "VerkehrsRundschau" trade journal.

Focus is not just on financial support, but also an exchange between students and businesses; strong networks for university and junior employees have grown out of the scholarship program in recent years.
