Today's students grow up as "digital natives" with many technical innovations and digitized processes. However, the private use of these technologies does not necessarily mean that they are also used sensibly within the framework of studies. According to a study conducted in 2016 by the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD) (University Forum on Digitisation), digital media are only used effectively in teaching if they are proactively promoted by lecturers and their use is mandatory. It is therefore up to you to turn students into "digital all-rounders" and prepare them for tomorrow's world of work.
Dr. Sebastian Kuhn, part of the HFD's working group "Curriculum development in the 21st century", has dedicated himself to this goal and inverted his own teaching by supplementing it with meaningful digital teaching and learning formats. In order to report on his positive experiences Mr. Kuhn gives lectures throughout the country and will be here at Geisenheim Hochschule University on 8.11.18 as part of the graduate school.
We invite all lecturers, scientists and interested parties to learn about his successful blended learning concept and to get inspiration for their own teaching!
