Together with its affiliated partner EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, Hochschule Geisenheim University is to receive funding as part of the "EXIST-Potentiale" initiative by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) to foster knowledge-based business start-ups. The application was made for funding amounting to around 1.3 million euros. With their "Rheingau Start-up Center " project, the partners achieved convincing results in the "boosting potential" category.
