Every launch is as good as the communication accompanying it! To accompany the publication of the first digital learning modules for the “Information Technology” course, Hochschule Geisenheim University’s Didactics and eLearning department have developed an internal HGU quiz duel to support it.

"HGU Quiz – the Duel", which can be accessed as a browser version on all mobile devices, gives students extra preparation for their exams in a fun way. In addition to various single-player training options and a self-test function, the application also allows students to compete with each other. Users can even participate in the design of the exam themselves by suggesting new questions to be included in the quiz!

In the HGU Quiz, the button "I want to get to know the HGU" answers entertaining questions about the university, the campus and student life for people who may be interested in finding out more about the university.

Feedback from a first-run with HGU students was extremely positive and emphasized the need for further subjects to be added. Comments such as "Hats off and keep it up!" or "A good idea that should absolutely be continued and complemented [...]" spur on the team of the University Didactics and eLearning department to continue working on innovative learning formats in the future.
